June 20th, 2015The mill works with production cycles and we take reservations. There is currently capacity in the May 2016 –Aug 2016 cycle as well as cycles Aug 2016 and beyond. Reserve yours today, even if it’s for your 2016 clip! If you want roving, rug yarn or batts (jobs that are just wash, pick, card), we can add you to our work in list. We work these jobs in when we are backed up at the spinner. This list is currently a bit long and will take us thru the summer but contact us if your work fits this option and we’ll see what we can do. Jobs wanting other services, like spinning, dyeing, separating or felting should be scheduled in a cycle.

Holiday Open House is Just Around the Corner!
November 22nd, 2014Vermont Fiber Mill & Studio and Maple View Farm Alpacas will host its annual holiday open house on November 29 and 30 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Guests are invited to learn about alpacas, raised for breeding as well as their luxurious fiber. Visit the fiber mill and see a rug hooking demonstration. Then browse the farm store for great holiday gifts made from luxurious alpaca.

Fall Open House 9/20 & 9/21
September 11th, 2014Vermont Fiber Mill & Studio and Maple View Farm Alpacas will host an open house on September 20 and 21. Guests are invited to learn about alpacas, raised for breeding as well as their luxurious fiber. Visit the fiber mill and see demonstrations on fiber production.
